1 lb sausage meat
1 diced apple (for cooking)
1 large chopped onion
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 tsp sage
1 beaten egg
salt & pepper to taste

Garnish:
2 large apples cored and sliced into rings
2 tbsp butter
3 tbsp brown sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Roll out the sausage meat on waxed paper into rectangle half inch thick.
Mix remaining ingredients together, spread mixture over meat and roll.
Bake 40-45 minutes at 350F.

Melt 2 tbsp butter and 3 tbsp brown sugar in frying pan with large apple rings
Fry until golden brown.
Place rings around meat and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon or nutmeg.
