Toothache
Saltwater Rinse
Until you can get to the dentist, one of the best things you can do is swish warm, salty water around in your mouth. A good mix is 1/2 teaspoon table salt to 8 ounces of water. Spit it out, don’t swallow it. You can also gently floss around the sore tooth to remove any bits of food that may be stuck.
Clove Oil
This natural remedy numbs the pain. Rub it directly on the sore area, or soak a cotton ball and dab it against the tooth and gums.
Tea Tree Oil
If you have an infection, tea tree oil is one of the best essential oils you can use to treat it. Tea tree is a very potent anti-microbial and anti-bacterial agent that cures just about anything.

Common cold:
1 tablespoon honey*
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Combine the honey and cinnamon in a bowl. Eat it plain or mixed into tea or applesauce 4 times a day until cold symptoms are alleviated.

Asthma or Cough
1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
1 teaspoon Honey
1 1/2 oz of whiskey
2 oz of boiling water
Put all in cup and stir it up. I hated these when Memaw gave them to me; as soon as she went back to kitchen I gave to Mike,
