5 slices of bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
1/2 yellow onion
1 32 oz of chicken broth
2 teaspoon kosher salt
2 15 oz bags of frozen cute pole beans (can use green beans)

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a large pot cook bacon over medium heat until crisp, about 5 minutes. Add onion, cook stirring frequently for 1 to 2 minutes. Add broth and salt, scraping browned pieces from bottom of pan with wooden spoon. Bring to a boil, cook for 10 minutes.
2. Stir in beans; return to a boil and cook for 10 minutes before serving.
