Ingredients:  
1 and a 1/2 large onions, chopped
2 pounds hamburger
Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
2 teaspoons chili powder, add more to taste
2 20oz. cans of plain refried beans
2 large cans of tomato sauce. (8 oz)
Hot chili peppers to taste (friend used several, with its juice- me, not so much!)
2 cups grated sharp cheese

Cook hamburger in large pan with chopped onions until brown and crumbly. Drain grease. Mix all other ingredients together except cheese, then add hamburger. Spread out in 9x13 pan and layer cheese on top. Bake at 350 until warm through (about 20 minutes) and cheese has melted. Serve immediately with corn chips.
