1 cup margarine (I use butter)
½ cup corn syrup
1 lb. or 2 cups brown sugar
1/8 t salt
1 t van. extract
½ t soda
6 – 8 qts popped corn
Optional nuts or coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Melt marg/butter, add corn syrup and brown sugar. Bring to a boil and do not stir for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat, add salt, then vanilla, then soda (I combine, then add). Stir and pour over popped corn, etc. Mix well.
Bake in shallow pans for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool and break into chunks. Bag soon to keep from getting sticky.
