3 tbsp vegetable oil

1 onion chopped

2 lbs cubed beef stew meat

2 c water

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tsp minced garlic

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

1 package of brown gravy mix (I use McCormick)

1 c water

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet heat oil. Saute onion
Add stew meat and cook until meat is browned on all sides.
Pour 2 cups water, Soy, Worcestershire, Garlic, salt, and pepper
Bring to boil and reduce heat cover and simmer for 1-1/2 to 2 hrs
until meat is tender
Separately make brown gravy accordingly to package directions
until thick then add to meat when meat is tender
