1 can evaporated milk 12 oz
1 can condensed milk 14 oz
1 litre Homo milk 3.25%
1 tsp. vanilla essence
1 tsp. cardamom powder
1 tsp. nutmeg powder
⅓ packet China Grass
2 cups of water
2-3 drops of red colour
pinch of saffron
Almonds and pistachios for garnish

Directions:

1 Soak ⅓ packet of agar grass in 1 cup of water for at least 1 hour.
2. On medium low heat, add the 3 types of milk in a non stick saucepan, add vanilla essence, cardamom and nutmeg and bring it to a boil stirring frequently so that the condensed milk does not stick to the bottom..
3. Add a few drops of red colour to the milk and mix well.
4. Boil the agar grass in 1 cup of water on medium heat in a another saucepan until the agar grass has completely dissolved.
5. Add the china grass mixture to the hot milk and mix with a hand mixer to dissolve the agar. .
6. Sprinkle a few strands of saffron.
7. Pour the milk into one or two large bowls or several small serving bowls.
8. Refrigerate for a few hours for the Faluda to set. ( The best results are obtained if you do it the night before.).
9.Garnish with almonds and pistachios after the Faludo has set.
