5 cups pitted Italian plums, sliced (about 2 dozen)
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
9-inch unbaked pastry crust

Directions:
Directions:
Toss plumps with sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Turn into pastry shell. Sprinkle with Streusel Topping. Bake at 375°F for 45 minutes.
 

Streusel Topping

1 cup flour
⅓ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
¼ cup softened butter

Directions:

Mix together flour, brown sugar, and lemon peel. Work in butter with fingers until well mixed.
