2 cups scalded milk
pinch salt
1/2 cup sugar
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 envelope unflavoured gelatin
1 cup whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Gently heat up milk in pot until a thin layer develops on top to make scalded milk. Add and mix salt, sugar and yolks and cook 10 min with no boiling! Cool.
In separate small pot, sprinkle gelatine pkg in 1/4 cup water. Let sit at least 5 min. Place pot on stovetop and just melt gelatin & add to cooled milk mix. Mix well together. Cool.
Whip cream and add vanilla. Gently fold into cooled milk/custard mix.
