1 (9 inch) Baked Pie Crust
2¼ c. Light Cream (Half & Half works)
4 tbsp. Cornstarch
1 tsp. Vanilla
¾ c. Sugar
6 tbsp. Butter, divided
Cinnamon & Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix cornstarch and sugar. Add 4 tbsp. butter and cream. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture boils and gets thick and creamy.
2. Remove from heat and vanilla.
3. Fill pie crust and top with an additional 2 tbsp. melted butter and a little cinnamon and sugar.
4. Place under broiler just until butter and sugar topping bubbles.
5. Refrigerate until set.

This recipe came from my daughter-in-law Mariah. It is absolutely amazing and has been adopted into the Nienhuis pie family.
