2 10 oz. packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
1 8 oz. package cream cheese, cut up
2 TBSP low fat milk
2 cloves garlic, minced
¼ tsp. finely shredded lemon peel
1 TBSP lemon juice
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
¼ tsp. bottled hot pepper sauce
¼ cup sliced green onion
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped red sweet pepper, (optional)
1 large round loaf French bread

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, combine all the ingredients except the sliced green onion and the bread. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed till combined. Stir in green onion. Cover and chill until serving time.

For bread bowl, slice 1 inch off the top of the bread and reserve. With a large spoon, scoop out the inside of the bread loaf, leaving a shell for the dip. Reserve the insides, and cut into bite size pieces for dipping. Spoon the spinach dip into the hollowed bread shell. If desired, garnish dip with chopped red sweet pepper. Serve dip with the bread cubes, carrot sticks, celery, cucumber and other dipping vegetables.
