1 1/4 cup oil
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups chopped pears
Pecans

Mix first 3 ingredients. Add remaining ingredients to the mix. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes

These were great until she began making them in microwave & they became very ‘chewy’. I think she made a couple every day with that days harvest. They were wrapped in foil & stacked in the upright freezer - at least a couple of years worth.
