* 1 cup brown sugar
* 1 cup flour
* 3 Tbsp. baking cocoa
* 2 tsp. baking powder
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/2 cup half & half
* 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
* 1/2 tsp vanilla
* 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Combine first 5 dry ingredients in a bowl. In another bowl combine milk, butter and vanilla and and stir into dry ingredients until just combined. Spread evenly into a 3 qt. slow cooker that has been coated with non-stick cooking spray. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
 

Fudge Sauce

* 3/4 cup brown sugar
* 3 Tbsp. baking cocoa
* 1 3/4 cups boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl combine brown sugar, cocoa and boiling water. Pour sauce over cake batter in the slow pot. Do not stir. Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours, or until cake looks done and fudge is bubbling near the edges. Serve warm with ice cream. A single recipe makes 6 to 8 servings.
Note: Cooking time varies with the type or brand of crock pot. In a 6 quart crock pot, a double batch, was cooked in 3 hours on high setting.
