16 (1 lb) sausage links
16 slices of bread
1 cup shredded american or cheddar cheese
4 Tbsp. butter, room temperature

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage links and drain. Cut crusts from slices of bread and roll flat. Mix cheese and butter. Spread on slices of bread. Roll a sausage in each slice. Bake on greased baking sheet at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Slice and serve with toothpicks.

Makes 16 canapes.
