1 can (13 oz) pineapple chunks in syrup
¾ cup vinegar
1¼ cups sugar
dash salt
6-8 whole cloves
1 4" piece of stick cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Make 1-2 days in advance.

Drain syrup from pineapple, reserving syrup. Mix ¾ cup pineapple syrup with vinegar, sugar, salt, cloves and cinnamon. Heat 10 minutes. Add pineapple. Bring to boil. Chill for 1-2 days.

To serve: Drain pineapple. Serve, ice cold with toothpicks.
