1 fresh pineapple, well ripened
1 qt. fresh strawberries (40-50)
½ cup kirsch
bamboo skewers as needed
crushed ice

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and cube fresh pineapple. Pick over strawberries, wash and and hull. Place pineapple cubes and strawberries in bowl; sprinkle with kirsch. Chill at least 30 minutes, turning several times. To serve, place pineapple and strawberries alternately on skewers. Place skewers over crushed ice in a glass bowl to keep chilled for serving.

Makes 8-10 servings.
