10 medium potatoes
8 oz. butter or margarine
2 tsp. salt
2-3 tsp. paprika
8 Tbsp. grated cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Peel potatoes. Slice each potato thinly, cutting only halfway through the potato to retain whole potato shape. Melt butter or margarine in medium sauce pan and turn potatoes in it. Place buttered potatoes in a shallow baking dish, sliced side up. Sprinkle with salt and paprika. Roast in oven for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese. Roast for additional 30 minutes, without basting.

Makes 8-10 servings.
