9x13 Pan
3-4 cup ground walnuts
1 lb of melted butter
1 lb phyllo
Add to nuts:
1 cup sugar
1 T cinnamon, Cloves, or cardamon
Butter bottom and sides of pan. Layer the phyllo by buttering each layer. After half of sheets are buttered, spread nut mixture over buttered sheets. Layer rest of buttered sheets on top.
Note: each sheet is buttered and layered. Keep a damp tea towel on phyllo when not using.
Cut all the way through in diamond shapes before baking
Bake 250º for 60-90 minutes - until golden brown. Cool

Drizzle with hot syrup made of:
1 cup sugar
½ cup honey
6 whole cloves
3 thin slices of lemon
¼ cup orange juice
5 T water
Cook till golden in color or drops heavy from spoon.
