1 cup butter
½ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
½ cup finely ground nuts

BROWN SUGAR FROSTING;
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup cream
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter with sugar, beat in egg and vanilla, blend in sifted dry ingredients and nuts. Chill dough 20 minutes. Shape into small balls, roll in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press flat with drinking glass. Bake at 350º 10-12 minutes. Cool and frost.
BROWN SUGAR FROSTING:
Boil brown sugar with cream 4 minutes. Remove from heat and thicken with powdered sugar.
