Cookies:
2 pkg. Duncan Hines Devil's Foods Cake Mix (this is the best cake mix to use for this recipe)

1½ c. Crisco

Frosting:
1 pkg. cream cheese softened
1 stick butter softened
3 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cookie ingredients by hand with spoon. Roll into nickel size balls. Put in oven at 350 degrees for 3½ to 4 minutes then rotate up or down on shelf. Bake for 3½ to 4 more minutes. Take cookies out of the oven immediately and let them set for a minute before removing them from the pan. (It is better to have the cookies soft than too hard, so you may need to adjust the time they are in the oven.) Once completely cool, spread thick layer of frosting between two cookies to make your Oreo. Cookies must be refrigerated or frozen! Makes approximately 50 Oreos.
