3 lbs. of Beef - Use any lean cut of beef
3 cups Basmati Rice
6 cups water or liquid
½ cup of oil
5 potatoes cut in half
2 tbsp. of ginger paste
2 tbsp. of garlic paste
1 tsp. chopped ginger
1 tsp. chopped garlic
1 tsp. green chili paste
4 tbsp. yogurt
3 chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3 onions sliced
1 onion chopped
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. of cumin seeds
2 cinnamon sticks
4 cardamom pods
4 cloves
4 peppercorns
1 tsp. garam masala
½ bunch of cilantro

Directions:
Directions:
1. Soak 3 cups of rice in water.
2. In the pressure cooker add beef cut in stewing beef sizes, 1 tbsp. ginger, 1 tbsp. garlic, 2 finely chopped tomatoes, 4 peppercorns, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 2 tbsp. yogurt, 6 cups water and one chopped onion.
3. Cook beef for about 20 minutes in the pressure cooker. If the beef is not cooked after 20 minutes add another 5 minutes.
4. In a large saucepan, add oil and fry cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, and cloves.
5. Add sliced onions and cook until they turn golden brown. Add cumin seeds, ginger and garlic and cook for a minute.
6. Add 1 chopped tomato and 1 tbsp. of cilantro and cook until the chopped tomatoes start to soften up.
7. Add the yogurt, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, cooked meat and mix.
8. Measure 6 cups of liquid from the meat. Add water if you don't have enough liquid.
9. Add 1 tsp. salt and taste the liquid if you need more.
10. Add the potatoes and let the liquid come to a boil.
11. Preheat the oven at 350º F
12 Add rice and lower the heat to medium low. Cover the rice. When most of the liquid has evaporated and there still some liquid left, sprinkle garam masala and cilantro on the surface. Do not touch the rice.
13. Let the rice cook in the covered pot for about 15 minutes in the oven.
14. Shut the oven off and leave for about 5 minutes.
15. Remove from the oven and serve.
