1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
½ c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. dried oregano
½ tsp. dried dill weed
2 tsp. olive oil
1 can (14.5 oz.) chicken broth
1 c. uncooked rice
½ tsp, ground turmeric
1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes, drained
1 can (7 oz.) peas, drained
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Saute mushrooms, onion, garlic, oregano and dill weed in oil in large saucepan until onion is tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in chicken broth; heat to boiling. Stir in rice and turmeric; reduce heat and simmer, covered, until rice is tender and broth is absorbed, about 25 minuters. Mix in remaining ingredients during last 10 minutes of cooking time.
