12 Chicken wings
oil enough to cover bottom of skillet
3 heads of garlic [not cloves, but heads!], peeled and chopped
2-3 Tbs. flour
chicken bullion cube
cooked rice

Directions:
Directions:
Brown wings well in oil. Remove from skillet and add garlic and brown for about 1½ minutes or until just turning brown. Add flour and stir well. Add 2 c. water and bullion cube. Return wings to gravy and simmer until done. Serve over rice.

You can use other parts of the chicken, if you don't want to use wings.

This is a recipe that has been handed down from my dad's cajun ancestors. I remember my grandmother making this and serving it along with warm mashed potato salad.
