¾ cup margarine
1 cup sugar
¼ cup molasses
1 egg, beaten
2 cups flour
¼ tsp. salt
2 tsps. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger
sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together margarine and sugar. Add molasses and egg and beat together. Combine flour, salt, baking soda and spices. Add to creamed mixture. Mix well and roll into balls, then in sugar. Press flat with fork. Bake at 375º for 15 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
