30 prawns or large shrimps deveined with tails
2 tbsp. of ginger
2 tbsp. of garlic
1 tsp. green chili paste
½ tsp. of chili powder or paprika
3 tbsp. of lemon juice
2 tbsp. butter
1 - 2 onions fined chopped
1 tsp. of salt to taste
2 tbsp. of olive oil
1 6 oz. can of tomato paste
¼ tsp. of chili powder or paprika
2 tbsp. of butter
½ tsp. of garam masala
½ tsp. of cumin and coriander powder
½ tsp. of turmeric
2 tbsp. of chopped fresh cilantro

1. Marinate prawns or shrimps in ½ tsp. salt, 2 tbsp. of lemon juice, 1 tbsp. of garlic and 1 tbsp. of ginger, ½ tsp. of green chili paste for about 30 minutes.
2. Wash the prawns under running cold water and pat dry.
3. In a frying pan, on medium add 2 tbsp. butter, 1 tbsp. of ginger and 1 tbsp. of garlic and red chili powder or paprika, ¼ tsp. of salt
4 Add the prawns to the butter and cook until they are pink in colour. Add 1 tbsp. of lemon juice. Do not overcook the prawns. Remove the prawns on to a plate.
5. Clean the frying pan, and add olive oil. Fry onions until they are golden brown. Add the ginger and garlic and cook for about 2 minutes on medium.
6. Add turmeric, cumin and coriander powder, garam masala and lemon juice.
7 Add the tomato paste,¼ tsp. of salt, ½ tsp. of green chili paste. Mix well and cook for a few minutes until you get a paste like mixture.
8. Add the prawns or shrimps and juices and cook for about 2 minutes.
9 If the mixture is too dry, add about ¼ cup of warm water and let it simmer.
10. Sprinkle cilantro and serve.

Serve with Naan or Parotha.
