1/2 pound butter (2 sticks)
1 cup Crisco

1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup milk
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
* You can convert all purpose flour into CAKE FLOUR by spooning 1 cup of all purpose flour, leveling it, then taking away 2 Tablespoons of flour out of the cup and replacing it with 2 Tablespoons of cornstarch. So, you do this 3 times for this recipe, replacing with 6 T of cornstarch. Then sift all of the flour once before adding to other ingredients.

Grease and flour either a tube or Bundt pan. Cream sugar and butter then add all the other ingredients, and beat until well blended. Pour in pan. Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325 degrees. Use a toothpick or slim knife inserted in cake to see if comes out clear. If not, you can add additional time up to 20 more minutes. Depends on your oven.

GG added a dusting of powdered sugar and colored sprinkles for Michelle’s birthday on 09/30/18. Everyone loved it and GG served with ice cream
