1 cup popcorn (not popped)
½ cup corn syrup
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt

Directions:
1. Air pop the popcorn into large bowl
2. In another large bowl transfer popcorn in interlocked fingers (letting the kernels fall to the bottom) a handful of popcorn at a time
3. Throw away kernels in the bottom
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 (no one likes to bite into an unpopped kernel while enjoying Carmel popcorn)
5. In a large glass microwave bowl combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt
6. Microwave for 2 min to melt butter
7. Mix really well
8. Microwave 2 to 3 min or until boiling
9. Remove from microwave and add vanilla and baking soda
10. Stir until bubbly
11. Microwave again 1 min 30 seconds
12. Poor over popcorn and mix well
13. Poor popcorn on to wax paper or parchment paper sprayed with cooking spray
14. Let cool and put into airtight containers
15. Enjoy
