Dumplings:
3 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. oil
3 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Sauce:
1 small can tomato juice
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. butter, heaping
1 tbsp. flour, heaping

Dumplings:
Beat eggs in a large bowl. Add milk and oil then add dry ingredients. Mix well. Put on floured board and roll out like a snake. Cut into 2" pieces. Drop into boiling water for 7-9 minutes.

Sauce:
Melt butter in frying pan and add flour; cook 1-3 minutes.

Heat tomato juice, sugar and vinegar in a small saucepan. Add butter and flour mixture; simmer gently for a few minutes. Toss dumplings in tomato sauce and serve.
