olive oil
1 ½ C chopped onion
1 small jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped
1 large clove garlic, chopped
1 lb ground Bison (or lean ground beef if you have to)
1 ½ C Granny Smith apple, peeled and chopped
½ C broth
¼ C sliced pimento stuffed green olive
¼ C chopped good black olive
¼ C raisins
black pepper
2 cinnamon sticks
1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes, do not drain
3 T slivered almonds, toasted
Sour cream
Tortillas

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Add onion, cook 3 minutes. Add jalapeño and garlic and cook 1 minute more. Add Bison (beef) and cook 3 minutes.
2. Stir in apple and all remaining ingredients except the almond. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Remove from heat, discard cinnamon sticks and stir in almonds.

Serve on tortillas with sour cream.
