"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pork tenderloin about 1 lb.
1 tsp. dried parsley
1 tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. black pepper
¼ tsp. onion powder
¼ tsp. paprika
⅓ C. low sodium chicken broth
2 T. honey
3 T. balsamic vinegar
1 T. ketchup
2 t. cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
If your pork tenderloin is longer than your slow cooker, cut it in half crosswise so you have two shorter pieces that will fit inside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the broth, honey, balsamic vinegar, ketchup and corn starch and pour into the slow cooker.
In a small bowl, combine garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, onion powder and paprika. Rub over all sides of the pork tenderloin and place in the slow cooker. (I use a 6 qt. round slow cooker and put a slow cooker liner in it to make clean-up a breeze!)
Cover and cook on high for 1½-2 hours, or low for 4-5 hours.
Move tenderloin from the slow cooker to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. If desired, add additional corn starch and water to the juices to thicken further.
Serve.
