4 lbs Spareribs
1 cup sliced Onion
3 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 pint pineapple/grapefruit juice
1 tsp Salt
⅛ tsp Pepper
1 large Green Apple ( pared & shredded)
2 tbsp Sugar
2 tbsp Cornstarch
2 tsp Soy Sauce
3 large Green Peppers (cut into 6 pieces)
½ cup light raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Wash meat, cut into serving size and brown.
Saute onions in 2 tbsp of fat. Return meat to dutch oven.
Add fruit juices,salt,pepper,raisins,apple and sugar.
Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer covered for 30 mins.
Combine cornstarch with water and soy sauce and mix well.
Stir into mixture in Dutch oven along with green peppers.
Cook 40 mins longer or until meat and peppers are tender.
