2 ¼ tsp. yeast
¼ cup warm water
⅓ cup sugar
¼ cup butter, softened
1 tsp. salt
1 cup hot milk
1 egg, lightly beaten
4 cup flour
2 tbsp. butter melted (brushing rolls)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast and warm water and let sit for about 5 minutes.
In a sauce pan heat milk and add Sugar, ¼ cup butter, and salt.
Stir until sugar dissolves.
Let cool to 105º-115º.
Add milk mixture to yeast and mix in egg.
Beat in 4 cups of flour, one cup at a time.
knead dough for 5 minutes.
Let dough rise in buttered dish in a warm place till doubled in size.
Punch dough down and knead 4-5 minutes.
Cut dough in 4 and then each piece in 4 again (16 pieces)
Roll balls and place in greased 9x13 pan.
Let rise 35-40 minutes (or until doubled)
Bake at 350º for 20 minutes.
Rub tops with butter as soon as you pull them out of the oven.
