1 pkg. frozen fruit or 2-3 cups of fresh fruit
½ c. melted butter
½ c. sugar
½ c. self-rising flour
½ c. milk
½ tsp. almond flavor
¼ stick melted butter (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Place fruit in a casserole dish. Pour ½ c. melted butter over fruit. Stir together sugar, flour, milk, flavor, and ¼ c. melted butter for crust. Once the crust is lump free, pour over fruit. Bake at 350ºF for 30 mins.

My Granny would make this for every family function. She loved to show her love for the family my baking desserts and having treats when we stopped. She continued to make this cobbler for us in her 90s. I always think of her when I make this.
