* 2 cups flour
* 1/2 cup sugar
* 1/2 tsp baking powder
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1 cup butter
* 2 egg yolks beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter as for pie crust. Add in egg yolks, mixture will be crumbly. Press half of crust into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Set remaining half of crust aside.
 

Filling and Assembly

* 5 cups pared, cored and sliced apples
* 2/3 cup sugar
* 1/4 cup flour
* 1 tsp cinnamon
* 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Slice apples 1/8" thick and add sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg to them and mix together. Arrange evenly over bottom crust. Crumble remaining crust evenly over apple filling and bake at 350* for 40 to 50 minutes. Cool.
* If using a tarter apple you may want to increase sugar slightly.
* Recipe can be doubled and put in an 11 x 15 inch pan.
