1 German Chocolate cake mix
1 14-oz pkg. caramels
1 stick oleo
⅓ C. milk or milnot
1 C. chopped nuts
¾ C. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake as directed on box. Pour ½ batter in greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 pan. In a double boiler melt caramels, oleo, and milk. Bake 1st ½ cake 20 min. at 350º while caramels are melting. Remove from oven and pour caramel mixture on top. Layer nuts and chocolate chips over caramel. Pour remaining cake batter on top and smooth. Bake another 20 min. at 350º.
