2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. soft bread crumbs (torn bread)
1 egg, beaten
2 T. worcestershire sauce
1 c. onions, diced
1/2 c. green bell pepper, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 c. milk
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 c. ketchup
2 T. brown sugar

Mix together all ingredients except ketchup and brown sugar. Use your hands to thoroughly mix. Add additional milk if needed to get you a softly held together texture. I like to cook this on a broiler. Line the bottom of the pan with foil to ease clean up. Spray the top of the pan with non-stick spray. Form meatloaf and place on broiler. Mix together ketchup and brown sugar. Spread over top of meatloaf. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes to 1 hour (depending on thickness).
