"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 chopped onion
2-3 cloves garlic
1⁄2 cup uncooked longrain rice
1⁄2 head chopped cabbage (at least 6-8 cups worth)
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can tomato soup
8 ounces tomato sauce
1⁄2 cup water
1⁄4 teaspoon marjoram (if you don't have marjoram use a little extra oregano....they are very similar in flavor)
3⁄4 teaspoon salt
1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
1⁄2 teaspoon oregano
2 teaspoons brown sugar

Note*
I make this healthier by making my own tomato soup. Instead of a can of soup I add 8 oz tomato sauce, 1-2 tablespoons stevia, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, and 1/2 tsp salt. Add remainder of sauce ingredients like normal, but I also switch the brown sugar for stevia.

Directions:
Directions:
1. Brown the ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain. Mix the rice into that.
2. Place in bottom of greased 9x13 pan.
3. Chop the cabbage and place on top of ground beef mixture.
4. In a saucepan combine the rest of the ingredients and bring them to a light boil. Pour this over the meat and cabbage. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4-1 1/2 hours.
5. Serve with Parmesan on top.
