in bowl mix together:
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
dash of salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1) mix in 3/4 cup liquid (juice from fruit with milk to make 3/4 cup is great!)

2) pour into casserole with melted butter. 3) spoon in 2 cups fruit of your choice (we seem to think peaches--fresh or canned, or blackberries make the best flavored cobbler). Be sure to spoon the fruit all around the mixture so there is fruit in the corners, along the sides, and in the middle as well. 4) sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over top.

Directions:
Bake 350º oven 50-60 minutes, depending upon the moisture content of the fruit; it should be fairly golden brown, bubbly in the middle. A little extra cooking usually just makes the crustiness more yummy. (You will figure out just how much to cook as you vary the different fruits, fresh or canned.) Good warm or cold, according to my various extended family members.
