Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Fill a large pot or dutch oven with water and bring to a boil. Add noodles and cook using package directions. Drain noodles in a colander when cooked.

In a bowl, combine sour cream and beefy onion soup mix. Mix together and taste. If more onion flavor is needed to your liking, add the onion soup mix. Mix well and set aside.

In a 12 inch pan, crumble ground beef and cook on medium-high heat. Add salt, pepper, and garlic and cook until beef is no longer pink. Drain any fat from pan. Reduce heat and add sour cream mixture, along with mushroom soup, to the beef. Add the beef broth and stir well. Gently fold drained noodles into beef mixture.

Transfer beef and noodle mixture to a casserole dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Spread evenly and top with the fried onions.

Bake for approx. 20 minutes.
