Nut Filling: (prepare first and cool completely.)
¾ lb. walnuts, ground
1 C milk
1 ½ C sugar
1 egg
½ C (1 stick butter)

Dough:
1 C sour cream
3 T butter
5 T sugar
½ tsp. baking soda
1 ½ tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 pkg. yeast
3 C flour

Combine all ingredients in large sauce pan.
Cook on medium heat until thick
Cool

Dough:
Bring 1 C sour cream to a boil. Remove from heat and pour into large bowl.
Stir in the 3 T butter, 5 T sugar, ½ tsp. baking soda and 1½ tsp, salt.
Cool to lukewarm
Add 2 eggs and 1 pkg. yeast and stir until dissolved.
Mix in 3 C of flour
Turn out onto floured board, knead into sooth ball, cover it with light towel and let it stand 5 min.
Divide dough into 3 parts. Roll out each until ¼ inch thick
Spread ⅓ nut mixture on eaah sheet of dough. Roll lengthwise and place the 3 rolls, seam side down on a large cookie sheet.
Let rise for 1½ hours
Brush with egg and sugar.
Bake at 350º for 35 min.

Allow to cool.
Wrap tightly in plastic wrap
