Ingredients:
1 onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, diced
8 ounces canned tomato sauce
2 - 2 1/2 cans water
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
green stuffed olives

Directions:
Directions:
Sautee onion and green pepper in oil until soft
Add can of tomato sauce, one can of water, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce some salt and pepper
When sauce begins to boil, add rice.
Simmer, stirring often until all liquid is absorbed. I add more water as the rice cooks if it appears to be absorbing the sauce too quickly and the rice is too hard.
Cut olives and add to the rice. You can also add a little olive brine.
Serve.

Personal Notes:
My dad was born in Puerto Rico. The family lived there for the first ten years of his life. My Mom created this to Dad's memory. I wrote this down from watching my Mom make it.
