Seasonings
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. paprika powder
½ tsp. of Kosher Salt
½ tsp. cumin
½ tsp. coriander powder
½ tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. Mexican or regular Oregano
¼ tsp. black pepper

Beef
1 lb. extra lean ground beef
2 tbsp. of olive oil
1 small finely chopped onion
3 cloves of fined chopped garlic
1 finely chopped jalapeno pepper
1 can of 8 oz. cup tomato sauce

Salsa
1 onion finely chopped
3 tomatoes finely chopped
2 tsp. of chopped cilantro
Juice of 1 lime
1-2 jalapeno chilies finely chopped
a pinch of salt
a few drops of Tabasco

Other ingredients
2 cups shredded lettuce
¾ cup Guacamole or Sour cream
12 Taco Shells - hard
1½ Grated cheese

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a small bowl mix all the ingredients under Seasonings.
2. On medium high heat, add olive oil, chopped onion and chopped garlic in a skillet and cook until the onions are translucent.
3. Add the ground beef, break up the chunks using a wooden spoon.
4. Add the seasonings and mix with the beef. Cook on medium high until the beef changes colour and is semi cooked.
5. Pour the tomato sauce into the beef mixture and simmer until the sauce dries out and the beef is cooked.
6. Taste the beef mixture for salt and heat. Add a pinch of salt and or chili powder if more is needed.
7. Take it off the heat and let it cool.
8. Prepare the salsa by mixing all the ingredients under salsa and keep aside in a bowl.
9. Bake Taco Shells in the oven at 300º until they warm
10 To assemble tacos, layer beef mixture, cheese, lettuce each taco shell. Serve with salsa; top with sour cream or Guacamole.
