4-6 pounds crab apples
1 C water
4 C sugar
2 T cinnamon
1/2 t cloves or nutmeg
Directions:
Directions:
Cut ends off apples and quarter.
Place in large pan, add water and heat up.
Cook until apples are soft.
Run apples through food processor.
Measure 4 C crab apple pulp and return to sauce pan.
Bring to simmer, add sugar and spices.
Simmer until thick.
Can freeze or process for 5 minutes in jars.
