1.5 c. brown sugar
2.25 c. skim milk
3 Tbsp. margerine or butter
6 Tbsp. flour
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
pinch salt

Directions:
Directions:
Scald 1.5 c. milk with sugar to dissolve any lumps. Mix salt, cold milk, and flour with egg yolks. Add hot mixture gradually while stirring. Cook in double boiler until thick, stirring constantly. Cook 10 minutes longer, stirring ocassionally. Add butter. Cool slightly and pour into cooked pie shell. Use a big pie plate.
