Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 cups self rising flour - not all purpose!
1 can domestic light beer - Miller Lite & Bud Lite work equally well

Directions:
Directions:
DO NOT preheat the oven.
Grease a loaf pan, 1 large or 2 medium, and mix the flour and beer in a big bowl with a fork. Dump the mix in the pan once it makes a big, sticky glob.
Put in the COLD oven, then turn the oven to 350°.
Let bake for 45 minutes.
It'll have a big ole crust on top and is best served right out of the oven.
Serve hot with butter, or be fancy and dip in olive oil and herbs.
You can throw in a little sugar though.
Reasoning behind adding the sugar is that it helps activate yeast and you get a better rise.
Put the beer in the bowl, add the sugar and you will see it instantly bubble.
Then dump in your flour and combine.
And an FYI - when making bread, it's best to use beer at room temperature instead of straight out of the fridge.
