½ cup cold milk
2½ tbsp cornstarch
½ cup Crisco
1 cup 10x sugar
1½ sticks butter
3 cups flour

Filling:
2 cans crushed pineapple with juice
4 tbsp cornstarch
½ cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Boil to a paste and cool the milk and cornstarch. Beat the crisco and 10x sugar, add paste mixture and beat until smooth. Mix the butter and flour and add to paste mixture to make a soft dough. Roll crust to fit a large cookie sheet. Pour in filling and put on a top crust. Make some slits in the top crust. Bake at 375º for 30-40 minutes. Cool and frost.
