1 box Nilla wafers
2 small boxes vanilla pudding mix (cook type) or 1 large box
1 large bunch of bananas (6-8)

Meringue:
3 egg whites
½ tsp. vanilla extract
¼ tsp. cream of tartar
6 tbsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Slice bananas. Cook pudding according to directions on box. In a medium to large casserole dish (2 qt.), layer cookies, pudding, bananas, alternating to fill dish.

To make meringue: Beat egg whites, vanilla, and cream of tartar until soft peaks form. Slowly add sugar, beating until stiff glossy peaks form and all sugar is dissolved.

Spread meringue to cover pudding. Bake at 350 º until meringue is golden brown. Cool. Refrigerate overnight.
