2 lb. square cut frozen hash browns, thawed
¼ cup melted butter
½ t salt
12 oz can cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream (2 cups)
¼ t pepper
¼ cup chopped onions
12oz shredded cheddar cheese

Topping:
2 cups corn flakes
¼ cup butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Put cornflakes in a ziploc bag and crush. Add melted butter and mix to coat. Combine all ingredients and put in a 9 x 13 pan. Cover the potato mixture with the cornflake topping and bake at 350º for 1 hour. Note: Potato mixture can be made the day ahead. Put on conflakes just before baking.
