3 lbs top round steak, extra thin (½ lb. meat per person)
1 lb bacon
2 cups chopped onion
Salt and pepper
Garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon partially (not too much). Put bacon, onion, salt and pepper, and garlic powder on each slice of steak. Roll up and tie with string. Brown in bacon fat. Put in casserole with some water and the bacon fat from the frying pan. Bake at 325º for 1½ hrs. Serve with mashed potatoes.

Gravy: Make a paste with 6 tbsp cornstarch and 1½ cups water. Add to juices in pan, cooking until thickened.
