6 lb beef brisket
3 T liquid smoke
1 t each-garlic powder, onion salt, celery salt
black pepper
Worcestershire sauce

Sauce:
2 cups catsup
2 t salt
2 t celery seed
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup Worcestershire sauce
4 cups water
2 onions, chopped
½ cup white vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle brisket with liquid smoke, garlic powder, onion salt and celery salt. Cover with foil and allow to marinate overnight in the refrigerator. Sprinkle with pepper and a little Worcestershire sauce. Cover and bake for 5 hours at 275º or until tender. Drain grease and let cool. Slice brisket when cool (it can be frozen now too). For sauce, mix all ingredients in a pot and boil for 15 minutes. Pour over sliced brisket and bake for another hour at 275º. Yields 8-10 servings
